The DOST OneLab would like to call for SURVEY PARTICIPANTS!

The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), in coordination with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), through the Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD), is conducting a study on the laboratory testing and calibration industry in the Philippines. This study aims to document and assess the implementation of the One-Stop Laboratory Service for Global Competitiveness (OneLab) Project and generate recommendations for future implementation. The result of the study is expected to produce a clearer picture of the OneLab Project implementation, including its coverage, service delivery, organization, and immediate outputs. The results will be useful in informing policymakers and program/project implementers on what can be improved for the benefit of the OneLab stakeholders – the project implementers, service users, and even the general public.

To fulfill this goal, a survey is being conducted to gather information on the implementation of the project between January 2018 and December 2022. Customers that acquired services from any Philippine testing and/or calibration laboratory between January 2018 and December 2022 are chosen as respondents to the survey. Being one of the customers that acquired laboratory and/or calibration services within the given timeline, we invite you to participate in the survey as a direct customer or as a representative of your institution. Participation in the survey is completely voluntary. If you agree, we will ask for a few basic information about yourself (e.g., age and sex) and the institution you represent (e.g., type of organization, location, etc.). You will also be asked for information about the testing and/or calibration services needed by your institution, your insights on the OneLab Project, and other issues related to laboratory testing and calibration.

All information you share will be completely confidential and will be used only by PIDS for research purposes. Your data will be anonymized during the analysis. This means that any information or answers you give in the survey will not be associated with your name or identity. Your responses will not be accessible to the DOST, PCIEERD, OneLab Project management team, or any external parties. Only the results of analyses (e.g., averages, frequencies) of the collected responses will be provided to them.
