OneLab Hosts Webinar with OMNI International

The DOST OneLab in partnership with OMNI International, a Perkin Elmer Company was able to successfully organize and complete the webinar on "Understanding the Impact of Bead Beating in Sample Preparation of Food for Microbial Analysis." The Resource Speaker was Mr. Caleb Proctor, Application Scientist of OMNI International which is based in the United States. The webinar was well participated by OneLab member laboratories from the DOST regional laboratories, Research and Development Institutes, other government agencies, and private institutions. There were also participants coming from other organizations and private individuals who were interested in the topic presented by the Resource Speaker. Participants watched the webinar through the live stream at the DOST ITDI Updates YouTube Channel. This webinar was granted 2 CPD units each for the regulated professions of Registered Chemists and Chemical Technicians, Medical Technologists and Chemical Engineers. The accredited CPD program was approved by the respective CPD councils of these professions under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
